The Canadian Progress Club Raised 11,741 cans of food for the food banks!
The Canadian Progress Club’s Childrens’ Charitable Society (of Northern Alberta) brought Canstruction® to Edmonton City Hall to aid the food banks in their fight to eliminate hunger in our communities.
Canstruction® is an event in which teams pit their design and construction skills against each other in building elaborate sculptures entirely of cans of food.
This year’s teams came from:
- Stantec Architecture Ltd
- Johns Group2 Architecture Engineering/Synergy Projects
- Cohos Evamy Integrated Design
- Manasc Isaac Architects Ltd
The sculptures were judged on Friday night by the distinguished jurors:
- U of A Dean David Lynch
- Malcolm Johnson FRAIC
- Carol Watamaniuk Deputy Mayor of St Albert
